Dr. Bianka Hamati, who joined The Eye Center in 2026, is a compassionate and dedicated optometrist who takes a personalized, patient-centered approach to eye care. She believes that every patient has unique visual needs and goals, and she takes the time to understand those goals in order to provide thoughtful, individualized recommendations and treatment options.

Dr. Hamati earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Temple University before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Throughout her clinical training, she gained diverse experience across a variety of specialties, completing externships at the Lyons VA Medical Center with a focus on ocular disease, Corneal Associates of New Jersey with an emphasis on specialty contact lenses, and Atlantic Medical Eye Care. She also completed a Low Vision rotation at The Eye Institute of Drexel University.

Her clinical interests include comprehensive eye care, ocular disease management—including glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration—pediatric eye care, contact lenses, co-management of ocular surgeries, and a wide range of routine and medical eye care needs. Her varied clinical experiences have given her a well-rounded perspective that allows her to care for patients of all ages and with diverse visual and ocular health needs.

Dr. Hamati is fluent in English and Albanian. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling to discover new places.
